Ilisia Washington (born May 24, 1998) is an American professional basketball player from Riverside, California who competes as a point guard and shooting guard. Standing 6'5" (1.96 m) and weighing 210 lbs (95 kg), Washington is characterized by his versatility in the backcourt, utilizing his size and physical strength to manage playmaking duties and contribute as a perimeter scoring threat.
His basketball development began at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, where he was a multi-sport athlete. He subsequently began his collegiate career at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where he earned All-Region honors. During his sophomore season at Chandler-Gilbert, he notably averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 44.1% from three-point range during conference play [1]. He later competed for Fairmont State University Where he would go on to win a Mountain East Conference championship in 2020 and also graduate the same year.He then completed his collegiate tenure at Regis University, finishing off his last year as a runner up in the Rocky Mountain Conference.
Professional Career
Sydney Comets
Following his collegiate career, Washington pursued opportunities in the Australian NBL1 East league. He gained initial professional experience with the Sydney Comets, averaging 8.73 points, 1.55 Assists per game, and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Central Coast Crusaders
Ilisia then signed to the Central Coast Crusaders for the 2025 season. During his 2025 season with the Crusaders, Washington appeared in 20 games, averaging 15.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, while shooting 38% from three-point range. His professional play is noted for a high basketball IQ and a dual-threat capability, allowing him to create mismatches and facilitate his team's offensive rotation.
