Iman Publication
Iman Publication is a Malaysian-owned independent publishing house specializing in fiction and non-fiction books for adults and young adults. They publish books in Malay and also the English language. Founded in 2013, Iman Publication has published almost 40 books and has sold them in many ASEAN countries including Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia.
On 31st August 2015, one of the founders of Iman Publication opened up a brick & mortar bookstore (known as Iman Shoppe) near KTM Serdang at Seri Kembangan, Selangor that sells primarily Iman Publication books and also other motivational books for young adults.
Background
Their books cover a wide range of subjects, including motivational, inspirational, self-biography, travelogue, parenting and novel books. They have also ventured into illustrated books or comic to capture young adult readers.
Notable Writers
Teme Abdullah
Teme Abdullah[1] an anonymous author who has nearly 400,000 young adult fans. His first book comprises his personal journey from being an artist to architect and sold 50,000 copies within 3 years. Overall, the total of his self-biography overall books sold was almost 100,000 copies.
Norhafsah Hamid
Norhafsah Hamid was born in 1973 and received primary and secondary education in Malaysia. She then proceeded to pursue her studies in United Kingdom until she graduated with a law degree from Reading University, United Kingdom. She completed her Bar in Malaysia and went back to the United Kingdom to work for a year. She then came back to Malaysia to commence her practice as an Advocate and Solicitor, specializing in civil litigation matters. She completed her Diploma in Syariah & Legal Practice and has been handling various Syariah matters.
Currently she has taken a break from civil practice and co-founded an NGO called 'Nadi Anissa Muslim Women Organization'. She now dedicates her time to her family, Islam, and also writing.[2]
Her latest novel called Letter’s to God has sold 6000 copies within 10 months.
