Immunity Resource Foundation (IRF) is a non-incorporated British charity whose website houses a thirty-five-year archive donated by Meditel Productions and Continuum magazine offering an information base on medical and scientific issues. The foundation’s website features regular contributions from scientists, journalists and writers on an alternative view regarding HIV and AIDS, aka HIV/AIDS denialism.

History[edit]

IRF was registered as an incorporated charity in 2004 (registration number: 1105986)[1]. It was founded by Joan Shenton, director of Meditel Productions and Huw Christie, editor of Continuum magazine. It became a non-incorporated charity in 2014.

Content[edit]

The IRF archive contains over 120,000 documents and video material gathered over the 30 years of changing information surrounding HIV/AIDS and other health, nutrition and medical issues.

Meditel Productions[edit]

A book by Joan Shenton describing the making of Meditel’s documentaries on HIV/AIDS, called Positively False – Exposing the Myths around HIV and AIDS, was published in 1998 by I.B. Tauris. A 16th Anniversary Edition was independently published in 2015.[2]

Continuum magazine[edit]

Continuum magazine was founded in 1992 by Jody Wells, a gay man who had tested HIV-positive and was convinced that the science behind the infectious “HIV” hypothesis was wrong. It ceased publication in 2001, after all the editors died from AIDS-defining clinical conditions,[3] leaving debts of over £14,000.[4]
