Imperial Scandinavia

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Imperial Scandinavia, also know as The Scandinavian Empire, or The Imperial Scandinavian Empire is a fictional nation in the Blood and Iron era. Imperial Scandinavia was founded after the battle of Kiel, when the Norway-Denmark forces were defeated and forced to sign the treaty of Oslo, releasing all territory to Scandinavia and transferring power in the Scandinavian region to the emperor of Sweden. Previous to the Finish-Swede war, Sweden now controlled all of Scandinavia and also parts of the Baltic, Germany, and small colonies in Africa and Asia such as the province of Sinkat in modern-day Sudan, which was a developed trading port to another colony, Scandinavian Java and Timor, which had been liberated by Scandinavian efforts. Imperial Scandinavia is a highly militaristic society based on diplomatic efforts with nations such as Prussia (The Imperial Gendarmes), The Batavia Guard, and The British Empire. The military currently has 2 major divisions in power of the Kejsare, the 3rd Porin Prikaati Regiment of Foot, and the Svea Life Guards, stationed in New Stockholm and the Kejsare's royal guard. Although there are many other regiments such as the 12th regiment of Gotland, and the 17th Rifles Regiment, they are reserved for other historical focus in the nation. Scandinavia's official demographics are classified as "Scandinavian" (A mix of Danes, Norwegians, Swedes, Fins, and even Russians as well as Prussians) that have all lived in Scandinavia. The official language is Scandinavian, an adapted version of Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish that is spoken on a wide scale across Scandinavia, even in the Kola Peninsula in Russia. Imperial Scandinavia is the second largest country in Europe, only being out dominated by Russia.

History[edit]

The Imperial Prussian Military (Tipa)[edit]

The history of Imperial Scandinavia starts in the 1600s, when Imperialist Democratic reformists started the Principality of Scandinavia, a Democratic Party inside Sweden's government started after Prussian Separatists started a revolution in The Imperial Prussian Army known as “The Venom Schism”. This resulted in many loyal Prussian officers questioning Prussia's monarchic rule and wanting a fascist dictatorship lead by Lord Venom. After rebels set fire to multiple Prussian cities in Brandenburg, the Racist party known as “The People’s Party of Prussia” (PPP) formed and took office in Berlin on April 15th, 1698, the declaration of Reformation was signed by Prussian separatists in Berlin, and the Kaiser, Emperor Jacob III, was put out of power. Emperor Jacob still had the constitutional right to govern, and when Scandinavia was restored as a nation, he claimed that Brandenburg and Mecklenburg were rightfully Scandinavia's. Afterwards, Emperor Jacob migrated his last loyalist army, consisting of Lord Icebreaker, Ares the First, and Lord Nathanelle who all started The Principality of Scandinavia. After having a slow start, Scandinavia grew to a decent size, but was very small in comparison to the larger, Swedish Empire, who at the time had a very disorganized army. Emperor Jacob saw this as a point of attack, and orchestrated a Rebellion in Scandinavia.

The Beginnings of Imperial Scandinavia[edit]

After the revolution of the Democratic Reformists, Sweden retaliated by declaring war on the now independent country. In southern Sweden, forces came together and united for each other, defending their rights as independent democratic reformists who not only fought with men, but also with diplomatic efforts. By showing Sweden what could become of the great country, people fled the monarchy towards the democratic nation. They claimed to be fighting for the people of Scandinavia, a whole new era of dominance in Scandinavia that would bring economic growth, political superiority, military dominance, and a new dominant nation in the Scandinavian subcontinent. This introduced a whole new era in Scandinavia, one that would change the way people saw Norwegians, Swedes, Fins, Danes, all together as one master group of people fighting for their nation and their forefathers. After a long and bloody civil war, the democrats came on top. This forced Charles the XII to seek refuge in Finland, where he would start the Fin-Swede war against the now Democratic nation in 1721. Jacob the II now wanted to seek vengeance for the horrible war, and built up a mighty army to combat Finland. Because most of his troops were exhausted and lacked resources, he couldn't attack right away. Instead, he built up infrastructure and built many new cities in Sweden, as well as developing its trade routes and increasing economic growth. Meanwhile, he started new regiments and made them some of the most elite in Europe. With his knowledge of Prussian affairs, he turned a group of rag-tag rebels into some of the most skilled fighters. One of his first regiments, "The First Regiment of Sweden" was known for its elite sword fighters, trained by no other but Major Ares the First himself, who was an expert at sword fighting. After this period of time, Sweden had 30 regiments and 15 divisions that were very developed and not new to combat. Charles the XII did not know of this, and thought that his army could combat Sweden, but he was wrong. Sweden came in large forces and were prepared to defeat Charles the XII once and for all.

Finn-Swede War[edit]

When the Finns launched a large scale invasion of 20,000 troops into Lappland, Sweden took action by countering their attack by sending 25,000 men into Lappland and defeating the Finn forces in the battle of the Sunken Sea in Inari, Finland. Swede troops then invaded southern Finland with a mass scale invasion force of 15,000 men. The other 5,000 men would march into Helsinki and capture the south, and push towards Leningrad. When the 20,000 troops united in Leningrad, the war was over, and Charles the XII was forced to be exiled on a foreign island near the coast of Russia. Afterwards, Finland was annexed and then divided into states. Afterwards, a huge celebration was held in Stockholm where a parade of troops marched through the newly constructed city of Svensken, named in a war hero's honor who defeated the Finns at the battle of Turku and pushed the Finns back to Helsinki. He defeated 15,000 men with only 1,000 fresh recruits by surrounding and tactically destroying large numbers of troops.
