Imre Vankó (born 17 April 1994) is a Hungarian footballer who plays as a winger or striker for III. Kerületi TVE.

Early life[edit]

Vankó was born in 1994 in Komárno, Slovakia, and joined the youth academy of Hungarian side Győri ETO FC before debuting in the Hungarian top flight with Hungarian side Pápai FC at the age of twenty.[1]

Club career[edit]

Vankó started his career with Hungarian side Győri ETO FC, where he was regarded as a prospect and debuted for the club at the end of the 2011/12 season.[2] In 2022, Vankó signed for Hungarian side III. Kerületi TVE, where he was regarded as one of the club's most important players and suffered an injury.[3] In 2021, he returned to Hungarian side Budaörsi SC.[4]

International career[edit]

Vankó played for the Felvidék football team at the 2017 CONIFA European Football Cup.[5]

Style of play[edit]

Vankó mainly operates as an attacking player and has operated as a left-back.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Vankó is the half-brother of Hungary international Tamás Priskin.[7]
