In Zoom: a World Premiere Play

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

IN ZOOM is a 10-minute play that takes place and is performed on the video conferencing platform Zoom. The play was created by Bill Irwin and it features Irwin and Christopher Fitzgerald. The play was produced by The Old Globe Theatre. [1].

The play was created as a performance option during the era of COVID-19 when theatres were required to cancel live performances by public safety officials [2]. Many theatre makers took to Zoom to perform plays for audiences digitally.

IN ZOOM premiered online on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time. [3] for paying audiences. It was then put on YouTube for free access on June 8, 2020 [3]
