Formation
Alex and Scott initially got together to have a jam and a laugh together, they found TJ online looking for a band and the chemistry was instant. The threesome throwing a lot of spaghetti at the wall of Downcast Studios in Gateshead until they had a decent catalogue of material ready.
Then began the epic trek to find current vocalist Nate. After trying out several 'interesting' options former Portuguese Eurovision Song contest contestant Celia Lawson somehow fell into position. Vocals were written and songs rehearsed before Celia had to return to her native Portugal to appear, to great acclaim, on the Portuguese series of The Voice.
Enter then the phenomenon that is Nate. All the pieces were then in place and the madness commenced.
Their first gig was at The Globe in Newcastle, a second quickly followed at Trillians supporting Scottish Rockers Tantrum[2].
Another early gig was supporting Edge of Obsidian at the O2 Academy in Newcastle[3]. Incantus would go on to do several more gigs with Edge of Obsidian[4][5].
The band went on to compete regularly in Competitions such as Bubbles Battle of the Bands [6]and Metal2TheMasses[7][8].
