A personal Ordinariate (quasi-diocesan) of the Chair of Saint Oscar Romero, based in Texas/California, is an independent Catholic jurisdiction that seeks to grow healthy parish communities and competent ministers (clergy/lay) for service in the Church. The Ordinariate was erected in 2020 by its Governing Council for independent sacramental Catholics in need of a jurisdictional home.
