Indian Land High School (ILHS) is a public high school in the "panhandle" of Lancaster County, South Carolina, United States. It is one of four high schools in Lancaster County School District.
Academics
Indian Land High School is ranked 43rd within South Carolina. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams. The AP participation rate at Indian Land High School is 44%. The total minority enrollment is 33%, and 14% of students are economically disadvantaged. Indian Land High School is 1 of 4 high schools in the Lancaster County School District. Athletics
Indian Land High School is a member of the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL). Athletic teams include swim team, volleyball, softball, football, soccer, cross country, track, tennis, golf, wrestling, and basketball.[9][4]
- In 1973 the Warrior Boys Basketball Team won the 1A Upper State Championship.
- In 1997–98 and 1999–2006 the softball team won the 1A state championship. They currently are ranked 2nd in most consecutive softball state championship wins in South Carolina.
- In 2018 and 2019 the Warrior Wrestling Team won the 3A State Championship
Notable alumni
Shawn Crawford, a former Olympic American sprint athlete. Crawford won gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics and silver at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[10]
