Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of 51 National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. It is affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and partners with Indiana University Health and Riley Hospital for Children. The physician scientists at IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center are faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indiana University School of Nursing, and the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.

The physician scientists at IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center have led treatment advances for breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, testis, and thoracic cancers, as well as other tumors, hematologic disorders,, and umbilical stem cell transplantation.[1]
