Indy Selvarajah
Indy Selvarajah (born March 1, 1981, (1977, unless he was 7 when he started secondary school) Gibraltar) is a Writer & Advertising Creative. Educated at Simon Langton Boys Grammar School in Canterbury, he went on to study degrees at the universities of Oxford (if he says he studied architecture at Oxford, then it should be noted that Oxford University doesn't have a school of architecture [1]) and UCL (University College London) (which degree and which year(s)?).
Selvarajah created the website 'It aint funny being coloured' (Not that I can find[2]) in 2008 which led him to write and direct his first pilot show for Comedy Labaint it funny being coloured? (space between Lab and 'aint', also you should pick a format: quotes and no italics or italics and no quotes.) for Channel 4 which aired in November 2009 (2007[3]) Comedy Lab was chosen as a Guardian Must See Show (the show was chosen, not the episode, but in all fairness, the episode was mentioned), [4] Independent Pick of the Day (not that I can find[5])and Time Out's Pick of the Week (not that I can find[6]). Despite this, Aint it funny being coloured never progressed beyond one pilot episode for Comedy lab. It was produced by Zeppotron (Nathan Barley, Black Mirror).
He has gone on to write another pilot for TalkBack Thames (not that I can find[7]) and written for the Guardian, Observer and Independent newspapers and publications including broadcast Dazed and Confused, The Face and Sabotage Times.[8] (can't find anything official from the Guardian, Observer, Independent, Dazed and Confused or Sabotage Times.[9])
Indy has created a pilot for the BBC called 'MilTV' (can't find anything official[10]), a comedy character show with Pett Productions. He is currently writing a new comedy / drama show with his writing partner Sean Cook (Spooks) being produced by Cowboy Films (The Last King of Scotland, Top Boy) and developing a new satire show 'Mirror Mirror' with Jamie Oliver's Fresh One Productions.
Indy was selected as a Broadcast Hot Shot for comedy writing 2010 (you decide[11]) and selected on the Courvoisier Future100 in 2011 (not that I can find[12]).[13] He is represented by the agent Vivienne Clore[14] (In fairness, he was.)
Indy has created award winning advertising campaigns (which awards?) for British Airways, Cancer UK, Make Mine Milk and Turner Prize 2013. (Google this stuff if you want. You'll also find him onhttps://www.ranker.com/list/list-of-famous-comedys, note 'comedys'. Also this[15] )
