Infinity Eggs

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Infinity Eggs is a 2023 animated science fiction series widely recognized as the first fully AI-generated narrative television series. The project was created independently by Belarusian-Polish director and producer Vladimir Nefedov as an artistic experiment to explore the boundaries of AI-driven creativity. All elements of the production — including visual design, animation, voice acting, music, and sound — were generated with artificial intelligence tools such as MidJourney, Pika Labs, Elevenlabs and Suno.

Synopsis

An encounter with an extraterrestrial civilization triggers irreversible evolutionary transformations across the past, present, and future. The series explores complex themes such as identity, technology, and human transformation, using a surreal, nonlinear narrative and AI-generated visuals to depict a fragmented but symbolic storyline.

Production

Infinity Eggs was entirely developed without a traditional production team, using generative AI systems for every creative and technical aspect. Visuals were generated using text-to-video platforms, sound was synthesized with AI voice models, and scripts were written through large language models.

Release and reception

The series premiered online in 2023 and was screened at over 30 international film festivals. It received multiple awards, including:

  • Best AI Film – New York International Film Awards (NYIFA)[1]
  • Best Web Series – Five Continents Film Festival (FICOCC)[2]
  • Best Horror Short – You Are the Judge Web3 Festival[3]

Infinity Eggs was also officially screened at the Clapham International Film Festival (CIFF) in 2023.[4] In March 2024, it was listed by the New Zealand Film and Video Labelling Body in its official film classification records.[5]

Significance

While projects like Nothing, Forever are known for their real-time AI-generated livestreams, Infinity Eggs is considered the first fully AI-produced episodic series with coherent narrative structure, visual direction, and artistic intent. It marks a milestone in the integration of generative AI into serialized audiovisual storytelling and has been referenced in broader discussions on the ethics and aesthetics of artificial authorship.
