The Infra-Worlders are a fictional organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Publication history
The Infra-Worlders appeared in The Incredible Hulk #164-165 (June–July 1973), and were created by Steve Englehart and Herb Trimpe.
Fictional character biography
The Infra-Worlders are a society of humans led by Captain Nathaniel Omen that has lived for five decades in a gigantic submarine named the "Infra-World."[volume & issue needed] These humans have been "evolved" so that their bodies can withstand the water pressure at 5,000 fathoms beneath the ocean's surface; as a result, they cannot live on the surface of the world.
Known Infra-Worlders included Filius, Mr. Bennington, Mr. Connally, and Ronny.
