Injective (/ɪnˈd͡ʒɛktɪv/) is a blockchain built for finance.[1] It's native cryptocurrency is INJ.[2] Injective was launched by Injective Labs, which was founded by Eric Chen and Albert Chon in 2018 through Binance Lab's first incubation program.[3][4][5]
Characteristics[edit]
According to the project's documentation, Injective runs on a proof-of-stake model.[6] The blockchain is designed to support financial modules such as a decentralized order-book.[3][7] According to TechCrunch, Injective acts as a decentralized alternative to Robinhood.[8]
