Inside-Cap
Inside-Cap (帽子屋インサイド)[1] was a Japanese doujin soft company in Kansai, Japan that specialized in porting visual novels mad by other dōjin circle to Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance hardware. The company disbanded in late 2008 due to multiple factors such as Nintendo DS development not being easy for them, customer support becoming troublesome, and company founder changing job.[2]
The origin of the name “Inside-Cap” is thus: we borrowed “Cap Shop” from our original/former name “Cap Shop Intel”, and used “Inside” to show respect for the "Inside X68000"[3] released/published by Soft Bank in 1992.[4]
