Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ayodhya (IET Ayodhya or IET Faizabad) is an engineering college based in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University.[1] It was approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) (Institute ID 1–35241531) [2]

Established in 2000 as a self financing course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University campus with two branches Information Technology and Computer Science and Master of Computer Application (MCA).[3] Later, AICTE Team allowed opening Mechanical Engineering branch. In 2018, Master of Technology Courses was introduced in Civil, Mechanical and Electronics Engineering by the institute after AICTE approval.[4][5]

Location[edit]

The institute is situated at Lucknow-Gorakhpur Bypass in Faizabad (Ayodhya) in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University campaus. It is also known as " Engineering College" in the city.
