Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ayodhya (IET Ayodhya or IET Faizabad) is an engineering college based in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University.[1] It was approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) (Institute ID 1–35241531) [2]
About
Established in 2000 as a self-financing course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University campus with two branches: Information Technology and Computer Science, and Master of Computer Application (MCA).[3] Later, the AICTE Team allowed opening the Mechanical Engineering branch. In 2018, Master of Technology Courses were introduced in Civil, Mechanical and Electronics Engineering by the institute after AICTE approval.[4][5]
Location
The institute is situated at Lucknow-Gorakhpur Bypass in Faizabad (Ayodhya) in the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University campus. It is also known as "Engineering College" in the city.
