Intellyo[edit]

Intellyo is a technology company focused on the development of software to create, manage and distribute content. Intellyo was founded in 2016 by Christoph Richter and Clemens Jeneral in Vienna. Its product is powered by Machine Learning to optimize content and to improve marketing efforts.[1].

History[edit]

Intellyo was founded in October 2016 by Clemens Jeneral and Christoph Richter[2] in Vienna, Austria. Its web development team is located in Budapest, led by Robert Oroszi as Chief Technology Officer and Norbert Gaál[3] as Head of Product.

The company's history can be dated back to five years when the founders started working together. Originally, they created video distribution platforms to enhance distribution in certain industries. The realization came at the end of 2015, when they have decided to start Intellyo as a separate venture and focus on the creation of written content online.

Intellyo won the competition Get in the Ring in which 70 startups from 13 Central and Eastern European presented their business ideas.[4]

By 2017, the company raised 1 million of dollars by five angel investors from Germany and Austria, and a European corporate communications consultancy.[5]

In February 2018, the company launched its software offering an early and free access to the content writers.

The company currently employs 20 people in Vienna and Budapest.

The startup was named[1] as one of the 7 Austrian startups to look out for in 2017 by EU Startups. Intellyo joined[6] the WeXelerate startup accelerator in 2017, September among the first companies to join the Viennese hub[7]

Software and features[edit]

Intellyo provides an SaaS solution named Creator Engine which offers tools for content creation, management, web analytics and search engine optimization.

The tool is currently available in English and German languages. The Creator Engine has features to perform keyword research, automated topic mapping algorithm based on SEO topical authority, plagiarism and grammar checker. It integrates platforms like Medium[8], Slack[9], Wordpress[10] and social channels to distribute content.

Wexelerate, Europe's biggest startup hub in Vienna, wrote: “Intellyo´s Creator Engine is an intelligent research and process automation tool - giving marketers and storytellers greater freedom to create groundbreaking content”.[11]
