Informatie- en Communicatietechnologische Studievereniging Inter-Actief is the study association for the studies Technical Computer Science and Business Information Technology and the association master's degrees at the EEMCS faculty of the University of Twente.[1][2]
History[edit]
Inter-Actief was founded on March 12th, 1981. In its first years this was only the study association for the study Technical Computer Science, but with the start of the studies Business & IT in 1993 and Telematics in 1999, Inter-Actief has grown into a study association for three studies. The Telematics study at the University of Twente was discontinued in 2008.[3] Today, the affiliated studies are called Technical Computer Science and Business Information Technology.
Publications[edit]
I/O Vivat is the publishing body of Inter-Actief and ENIAC, de alumni association for Computer Science students of the University of Twente.[4] I/O Vivat regularly publishes magazines since 1985.

- Karel de Jonge, program director at the time of the founding of Inter-Actief in 1981.
- Han Joosten, board member of Inter-Actief from 1984 to 1986.
- Theo Ruys, board member of Inter-Actief from 1985 to 1988.
- Eelco Eerenberg, board member in 2004. Also D66 politician and alderman of the munincipality of Utrecht since 2019.
- Arie Duijvestijn, dean of the faculty of Computer Science when it was founded in 1981.[6]
