International Distribution Company

International Distribution Company LLC. (abbr. IDC) is a company that handles film distribution business in Latin America. Established as a joint venture between Summit Entertainment and Pedro Rodriguez (founder of NuVision), IDC began distributing Summit titles in 2005. As Lionsgate Entertainment acquired Summit in 2012, IDC's partnership was expanded to include titles from Lionsgate Films as well.
At a level of individual countries, IDC subcontracts local film distributors.
