International Monarchist Conference
The International Monarchist Conference (IMC) was founded on 25 February 2008 and according to its charter.[1], it aims to unite every organization or individual advocating the creation or preservation of political structures based upon an “incarnate and sovereign system, a defender of natural liberties and independent from economic and political oligarchies and elites.”
The International Monarchist Conference thus unites monarchist political parties, movements, groups, newspapers, magazines, websites, foundations, trade unions and associations as well as youth movements or organizations.
Facing “destructive globalization threat to national identities” is sees monarchist parties, groups, organizations and newspapers as “a stable reality, aspiring to a society with greater justice and protection for all its people”.
It has member organizations in all current monarchies (Like the Belgian political party Belgische Unie – Union Belge) and in most countries that once had a monarchy and that still have a sizable popular support for monarchist ideas (like the Italian Monarchist Alliance) [2]
