The International Natural Language Generation Conference (INLG)[1][non-primary source needed] is an annual conference that focuses on various aspects and developments in natural language generation (NLG) systems. It is one of the earliest conferences in the field of natural language processing to focus specifically on NLG.[citation needed] The conference is usually accompanied by several workshops on related topics in language generation. The event is organized by the Special Interest Group on Natural Language Generation (SIGGEN) of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL).[citation needed] The proceedings of the conference are published in the ACL Anthology.[2][non-primary source needed] The first[citation needed] INLG was held in 2000 at Mitzpe Ramon, Israel.[3] Since 2016, the conference has been merged with the European Workshop on Natural Language Generation (ENLG).[4] The 18th edition of INLG is scheduled to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from October 29 to November 2, 2025.[1][non-primary source needed]
