Tensions between Lebanon and Israel have divided world countries, mainly the western countries, between pro-Lebanese, pro-Israeli and neutral.

Lebanon and Israel both enjoy very strong relations with EU countries, they are both members of Union for the Mediterranean, they both enjoy economic, political, social and cultural relations with Europe which led Europe to be divided concerning the Israeli-Lebanese issue.
