Interworld Boxing Organization is a boxing sanctioning organization.
History
The Interworld Boxing Organization (IWBO) is a non-profit organization that serves as a professional sanctioning body for boxing. It actively regulates and supervises professional and amateur boxing in Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe and Oceania. It is based out of Mexico and has an office in California. It works with boxing promoters Stars Of The Future Promotions and Cavazos Promotions in the United States.
It is an organization that is described on its website as "youth and experience that will strive to give its best to detect new talent, regional, national, intercontinental and global." It works with different boxers, promoters and the public from all over the world. Its goal is the recruitment and selection of boxers, trainers, managers and promoters.
IWBO has nineteen affiliated clubs in three different countries. It has a comprehensive ranking system. In September 2022, the IWBO Interworld Boxing Organization, together with the Cuautitlán Sports Directorate, State of Mexico, exhibited the IWBO Latin Championship Belt in Mexico.
