Intuiface

Intuiface.[1] is a software company that develops a no-code/low-code platform for creating interactive digital experiences. Founded in 2002, the company is headquartered in Labège, France. Intuiface software is used to create in-venue, interactive digital experiences such as digital signage, retail engagement, museum exhibits, and corporate communications.

History

Intuiface originated in 2002 as a research project exploring natural user interfaces and interactive media.[2]. Originally named IntuiLab and then rebranded to Intuiface in 2019[3], it started by targeting interactive hardware and software for the air traffic control industry[4]

A home-grown experience creation toolset, named Intuiface and originally intended solely for internal use, was formally launched as a commercial product in 2012[5]. Its positioning was centered on enabling non-technical users to design and deploy interactive experiences without traditional software development.

Over time, Intuiface expanded its offering into a platform targeting the digital signage industry[6], combining interactive content creation, data integration, analytics, and deployment capabilities. Its customer base has grown to include enterprises, agencies, and institutions across retail, transportation, hospitality, real estate, and cultural heritage sectors.

In 2020, the company achieved ISO 27001 certification[7]

Products

The Intuiface platform is a no-code/low-code solution targeting the digital signage and kiosk markets, enabling the design and operation of interactive applications for in-venue use. It emphasizes touch-based and multi-modal interaction[8], including support for gesture, sensors, voice, AI agents, and computer vision. The platform consists of:

  • Composer – a Windows-based authoring environment used to design and configure experiences with drag-and-drop tools.
  • Player – a runtime application that executes published experiences across various devices, including Windows PCs, Android tablets, iPads, BrightSign media players, and web browsers.
  • Intuiface Cloud – web-hosted solutions for third-party API integration, content management, experience deployment, device management, and end-user analytics
