Inverkeithing Bowling Club

Inverkeithing Bowling Club is a bowling club located in Inverkeithing in Fife, Scotland. Founded in 1901, it is one of the oldest bowling clubs in Fife.[1]
History
Inverkeithing Bowling Club was founded in 1901, and the first meeting of the club took place on 5th March 1901. Membership was initially set at 10 shillings per year.[1]
In 1903 the clubhouse was built at a cost of £156.[1]
In 1906, the club agreed to membership of the Scottish Bowling Association, and to play in SBA games. In 1908, the club agreed to join the Fife Bowling Association and play their competitions.[1]
In 1919, the club approved a Ladies Section, and by 1949 this was fully integrated within the club.[1]
In 1964, the club formed a junior section and applied for a bar licence for the clubhouse.[1]
Grounds
The grounds are located on Alma Street, Inverkeithing.[1][2] The grounds feature a bowling green and a clubhouse with a fully licenced bar.[3] The clubhouse also has darts, and competes in the Inverkeithing and District Darts league (2019).[4]
