Invest in Bavaria is the Business Promotion Agency of the Free State of Bavaria and conducts global location marketing activities for Bavaria as a business location. The Business Promotion Agency also advises interested international companies planning a company settlement (establishment of a branch) or expansion investment.[1] Depending on the requirements, the agency proposes suitable locations to investors, organises individual tours of the location and provides financial data as well as information on Bavaria.[1] Invest in Bavaria helps companies to establish initial contact with authorities and trade associations, brokers contacts with clusters and company networks, and supports the entire settlement process. The entire service is free of charge and confidential.[1]
In addition to this, over 20 representative offices all around the world support Bavarian companies abroad as well as foreign companies interested in Bavaria.
Service
Invest in Bavaria supports companies looking to expand to or found a branch in Bavaria. The Business Promotion Agency provides its investors with information on Bavaria as a business location and on individual sectors, networks, markets, research, staff, etc. Invest in Bavaria seeks out suitable locations and presents them to investors, and brokers contacts with authorities, partners and networks on the ground. This way, a company has the same contact person for the entire settlement process.[1]

Invest in Bavaria supports investors in many different languages; currently German, English, French, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Polish and Indonesian.[1] The Free State of Bavaria also maintains a global network of representative offices.[2] A total of 25 foreign representative offices support companies from Bavaria in opening up new export markets. At the same time, they provide local consultancy for companies who are planning investment projects in Bavaria - in cooperation with Invest in Bavaria. New representative offices opened in Turkey (Istanbul),[3] Austria (Vienna)[4] and Switzerland (Zurich) in 2010; another office followed for South America in Chile (Santiago de Chile) in 2013.[5] The other representative offices are located in Brazil, Bulgaria, China, India, Israel, Japan, Canada, Croatia, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Romania, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary, the USA, UAE and Vietnam.[2]
