Internet Podcast Database[edit]
The Internet Podcast Database (IPDb) is an online database of information related to all types of podcasts as well as its participants ie., hosts, guests, podcast production, summaries, related works and collaborations. Podcasters can post their own resumes and photos and users can create profiles and interact with other listeners as well as podcasters. Similar to IMDb.
History[edit]
Los Angeles in December of 2013 the idea for IPDb was born. CEO Serena Travis’ passion for podcasts[1] led her to creating a place where podcast creators could showcase their work. It is also a place where podcast listeners can go to find the podcasts they enjoy and gain access to information and links to their other projects, podcasts, and cameos.
An Independent Company
IPDb launched November 22, 2014 at a private event in Burbank. Serena Travis is the sole owner, founder, and CEO] of IPDb. She has been an active guest on various podcasts (which ones) as well as an investor and contributor to Christian films, as well as a writer and editor to Christian and non-Christian publications. This year IPDb sponsored the 6th annual Pan Pacific Film Festival (PPFF) Stellae Awards[2] that were held at the Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles on July 24th 2014. The first IPDb Excellence in Podcasting Award went to Christian Movie Connect’s[3] (CMC) producer and host Cheryl Ariaz Wicker.

IPDb provides a full list of episodes for individual posdcasters.
Podcastography
IPDb provides links and all crediting information in regards to any particular podcast. Users can find content creators, producers, special guests, and other accolades. There are already new multifunctional features in the works for the future of IPDb; the overall goal being to make it easier for podcasters to promote their own podcasts/projects while interacting with listeners and other podcast community members.

IPDb members can rate a podcast from 1 to 5 stars and can leave their comments.

Members can follow their favorite podcasts.
