History[edit]

Ipo Arakeji, Ijesa people are mainly from Ile Ife in Osun State and they are descendants of the Alaaye of Ipole Aaye who was a direct son of Oduduwa.[4] They migrated to the current location in 1919 when the British colonial officials directed them to leave Ikeji Ile and move to a plane land.[citation needed]
