Iran's Last Warning
"Iran's Final Warning" is an ironic term used for the Islamic Republic of Iran's constant threats to other countries and governments since 1979, notably Israel and the United States, that ultimately lead to no 'direct' consequences.
History
Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988)
Although Iran did not initiate the war against Iraq, Ayatollah's Iran had threatened Iraq several times and had ambitions of overthrowing the Saddam regime and exporting its 'Islamic Revolution', which was ultimately scrapped[1]
Israel-Gaza War(2023-)
After the Hamas-led October 7 attacks on Israeli soil, Israel went ahead with the invasion of Gaza. Since then, Iran has followed up with multiple warnings of the consequences of the invasion. Iran warned Israel through the UN against a ground offensive in Gaza.[2][3]
Iran-Israeli Proxy Conflict (1985-)
Iran has delivered numerous threats and warnings against the 'Zionist' regime and has funded various militant groups, such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis.
After the alleged Israeli bombing of the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1, 2024[4], the Iranian government has issued several threats targeting Israel and promising 'revenge' on Israeli territory. [5] Ayatollah Khamenei had vowed to make the 'Zionists' repent of their crimes on the social media platform X.[6]
