Plot[edit]

In a distant future of Goa, Panjim City is submerged partly under water due to global warming. The inhabitants of the city live high up in the floating towers. The office of Coastal Sky Publishing House is located in one of such tower. The air is no more of inhale-able quality. So, it is supplied to the buildings through the oxygen pipelines. A young country girl named Evelyn works here as a writer. She travels to Panjim everyday by the ferry, which takes her from the island, where she lives, to the city, every morning; and drops her back, in the evening, after work.

She, secretly, loves a person working with her, at the publishing house. She is charmed, by the perfection that the person shows, in his every action. Her best friend, Shobha, introduces her to Rish, a young farmer who has given up city life and returned to his ancestral farm. He used to, previously, work as an Engineer, to manage the oxygen pipelines. She is trying to understand the difference between the two different environment that she lives in.

When Shobha tells her that the whole city can cease to exist, if any breakdown happens in the oxygen pipelines, she gets scared thinking about the city's future. Rish tells her that she should tell the person about her feelings, before he leaves the job and moves elsewhere. It makes her insecure.

The next couple of days, the person is absent in office. She feels restless and wonders, what is the reason behind such sudden absence. But, once she receives a text message from the person explaining the same, she feels happy. The person promises to see her next week at the office.

She asks her mother about her marriage, how did she decide to marry and how sure she was, that her marriage would work. Her mother explains her that she was not sure if the marriage would work but she was sure that she wanted to marry her father only. And, thus, it became easier to decide. When she inquired about the reason behind such questions, Evelyn tells her that she has decided to marry. Her mother feels happy. She wonders whether she will get yes as an answer to her proposal of marriage.

In the evening she meets her friends again, and discusses about the type of outfit to wear when she proposes the person for marriage. After many suggestions she decides to wear traditional dress. Next day, she travels to the city to meet the person and meets him at the plaza of the tower, in which her office is also located.

What happens when she proposes the person? Will that person say Yes? What will be his reply? She will come to know, finally on that day.
