Irwin Chafetz (born 1934) is an American businessman, company director, investor, and philanthropist. He is a co-founder and director of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited, which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
Business career
Chafetz has been working with Sheldon Adelson since 1989, and has served as a director at Las Vegas Sands Corp. since February 2005. He is a former member of the dean’s advisory council at Boston University School of Management.[1]
