Isabel Weill
Isabel Weill Zuzunaga (1895—1980) was a Peruvian woman living in France during its Nazi occupation.[1] She hid her husband, Robert Weill, and an unrelated boy, Jack Szarfscher, both Jewish, from the Nazis, and was nominated by Szarfscher for the title of Righteous Among the Nations, which she posthumously received on September 8, 2016.[2][3][4][5]
Journalist Hugo Coya wrote a book, Estacíon final, on Peruvians' actions during the Holocaust, including hers, published in 2010.[6][3]
