The Isacc Newton Line is a Light rail rapid transit line in Cambridge proposed by the group Cambridge connect.[1] The Cambridge connect route would run from Girton Interchange in the north to Trumpington and Granta park in the south. Multiple regional extensions have also been proposed to connect the line to Haverhill, Cambourne, Waterbeach and St Neots. As part of the proposals, the Trumpington park and ride would be moved to the south to connect with the M11, and new park and ride sites would be built in Newmarket road, Granta Park and Girton.[2]
