Isiah James is a registered candidate who is running for Congress to represent New York's 9th Congressional District.[1]
Career
Isiah James served in the Army for 10 years, serving in Iraq following the attacks of 9/11. After being wounded in combat, James returned home to the United States.[2] He continued to work as a public servant within his community. [3]
Personal Life
James' father immigrated to Brooklyn with a fifth-grade education and a dream of a better life. Isiah James grew up in a Jamaican-American household as one of eleven children. He attended public school from kindergarten through graduate school. He is married to a Puerto Rican. [3]
