In 2014, he co-founded with Jawad Ziyat, former president of Raja Club Athletic,[13] VotreChauffeur.ma,[14] the Moroccan leader in vehicles with drivers.[15] In 2017, the round table welcomed Youssef Chraibi, CEO of Outsourcia group.[16][17][18]

In January 2020, Ismael co-founded with his wife Sophia Alj, former McKinsey consultant, Chari.ma,[26][27][28] an e-commerce application for convenience stores.[29][30] In March, Orange Ventures, a subsidiary of Orange, joined the startup's funding round.[31][32][33][34] Chari.ma then joined the Founders Program at Station F,[35][36] the largest startup incubator in the world. A few months later, PlugnPlay, the world's most active startup accelerator, based in silicon valley, invested in Chari. Chari is the first Moroccan Startup to welcome PlugnPlay in its round table. In June, the prestigious accelerator Y Combinator announces the acquisition of 7% of the Moroccan startup.[37] In July 2021, Chari.ma became the first Moroccan startup to join Y Combinator program.[38] One month later, they acquired Karny.ma, a Moroccan fintech app.[39]

In July of the same year, Ismeal created with his wife Sophia Alj, the Dislog Foundation, with a budget of 10M MAD[40][41] with the objective of helping young Moroccan entrepreneurs with projects.[42][43]

Ismael Belkhayat sits on the board of directors of the holding company HnS Invest and is responsible for the development of its subsidiaries, including Dislog Group.[44][45] He is also co-founder and general secretary of the association LeMarocDigital.com.[46]

At the beginning of 2021, Ismael abandons his investiture,[50] and he does not appear on the list of candidates presented by the movement.[51]
