Isolde Fair is a singer-songwriter, pianist and violinist based in Los Angeles, CA.[1]
Isolde Fair first became known to the world through her adaptation of part of Hillary Clinton's 2016 concession speech into her song "To All The Little Girls". The 13 year-old Fair was given the task of writing a song based on Clinton's speech by her music theory teacher at Sol-La Music Academy in Santa Monica, CA for a homework assignment.[2] She then recorded "To All The Little Girls" with friends and other girls from Sol-La and the recording session was shot as a music video by multi-academy award winning director Terry Sanders. The video then caught the attention of Hillary Clinton and she tweeted "Thanks to Isolde Fair & her classmates for this inspiring song. I'm with YOU.👏👏👏✨"[3] to her followers on Feb. 15, 2017. News organizations in Italy[4], Ireland[5] and US[6] gave the video coverage. Fair was invited to perform To All The Little Girls at the New York Times sponsored Tina Brown Women In The World Summit in April of 2017.[7]
On Oct. 20 & 21, 2017 Fair was invited to perform "To All The Little Girls" with the 180 voice Seattle Womens Chorus under the direction of Paul Caldwell[8].
Fair wrote another inspirational song entitled "RISE". In 2019 Isolde was invited by Orchestra Moderne NYC to perform RISE at Lincoln Center for the Women Warriors: Voices Of Change program conducted by Amy Anderssen. [9]
Fair appears on Georgina Callaghan's album "Callaghan" as a guest violinist.[10]
