Iuveterian

An iuveterian is when one chooses not to consume young animals, such as lamb, but don't refrain from eating meat slaughtered at the adult stage, such as sheep. This is mainly because an iuvetarian does not believe in killing animals whilst they are young. The term is derived from the Latin word iuvenis, meaning young, and was coined by Hugo Thompson, an iuvetarian himself.
