Founded in 2000, Ivalua maintains dual headquarters in Redwood City, California and Orsay, France, with additional offices in Montpellier, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Singapore, New York City, Pittsburgh, Pune, São Paulo, and Montreal.[3]

Ivalua has received funding from private equity firms KKR & Co. L.P.[4] and Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity).[5]

In October 2017, Ivalua acquired Directworks,[6] a direct materials-focused technology provider.
