Ivan Kharchenkov (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born September 20, 2006) is a German-Russian[1] basketball player for Arizona of the Big 12 Conference.

College career

On Jul 1, 2025, Kharchenkov announced his commitment to Arizona.[2][3]

Professional career

On November 19, 2022, Kharchenkov played his first professional match for Bayern in the Basketball Bundesliga, scoring five points against Mitteldeutscher BC and at 16 years, one month and 30 days, became the youngest player and scorer in the highest German division.[4][3]

National team career

In August 2022, Kharchenkov represented the German U16 national team at the 2022 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B winning the gold metal. With an average of 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1,6 steals, he contributed significantly to the title win and was elected to the team of the tournament. In July 2023, Kharchenkov won the bronze metal at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship, scoring 17.1 points per game and was once again voted in the team of the tournament. In August 2024, he became the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket champion while contributing 18 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists on the final victory against Serbia.[5]
