Ivy Tania also known by her stage-name I.B[1] (born Bandung, August 16) is a Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, Model and Actress from Indonesia. She was also known as the rapper and member of Indonesian girl-group, FOXYROSE (2018-2021). [2][3]
Early life and education[edit]
I.B was born as Ivy Tania in Bandung, Indonesia. Since childhood, I.B has a hobby of painting and drawing. And she began to love music since she was in elementary school. The first musical instrument she played was Piano. But after seeing her uncle playing a guitar, I.B's curiosity towards Guitar made her to decide to become a guitarist for an indie rock band since I.B was still in junior high school. As a guitarist, I.B actively practiced and performed live with one of the indie rock bands in Jakarta until she was in high school.
After graduating from high school, I.B continued her education to Sunway University in Malaysia for a pre-university course. And successfully completed her undergraduate study with a Bachelor of Psychology degree (Bachelor of Arts) from Monash University in 2012. [4] In 2014, I.B flew to South Korea for a K-Pop Idol training but decided to return home and start her career in Indonesia. [5] Due to her life which frequently moves from place to place, and she also has a hobby to travel, I.B is also fluent in various languages such as Language English, Indonesian and also has basic language skills in Korean and Japanese.
