Izilf

Izilf is a Moroccan oasis located about 7.5 km from the city of Tinjdad in the Meknes-Tafilalet region.
Etymology
The name Azilif is of Berber origin and means "to burn something".
A threat
This oasis is increasingly threatened by desertification, which acquires large areas every year due to disturbances in rainy regimes, and successive years of drought, without forgetting the impact of overgrazing on the expansion of this phenomenon in the region.
