Jaisen La 'Don Wooten (/jaːson/; December 29, 1984 – present, known mononymously as Jésen Pyro, is an American singer, rapper, actor, dancer, gamer, cook, streaming host and model. He has been credited for helping to redefine contemporary R&B, pop and hip hop,[1], battling life circumstances, aiding the community, donating to various charities and engaging in civil acts against injustices, earning him the nickname the "East Texas' Finest". He is the founder or Radikal Myndz Inkorper8ed LLC., Wootenationow (fan base/support group), Bark0de (Believe, Achieve, Recieve) [motto], Jewelz of Power Inc. LLC & Co Founder/Agent of Funhouse Agency. He is also in support of companies such as Beyond Branding, Peach Empire, & BGF (Bosses Good Forever) to whom he is managed & marketed by. He is also a host broadcaster under Dragon Ent & is an artist of Indiefy & former artist of Circle Sqaure Records & Free Gold.
Early Life
Jaisen was born at Trinity Mother Frances on December 29, 1984. He would be later taken and raised by his father's side of the family years later. He grew watching Star Search, YO! MTV Raps, Video Soul & other music platforms while inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Sade, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, The Boys & others. At one point, Jaisen was going to be the next child star until plans were derailed. He attended Chapel Hill I.S.D. where he entered his first talent show years later in middle school as a dancer & then later in High School he form a group with 2 others & Al Onehunnid called "Soul". He would then make demo tapes & later record on his first cd years later in the year 2009. Before that he would be one of the first of 6 to graduate the Florence Shapiro High School (later Premiere High School) program at North Texas Job Corps in 2006.
Career
Jaisen was in a group called the East Texas Hard Hittas in 2003 - 2004. In 2012, he released his first solo album titled REIGN. while he was at House of Disciples (a 12 month discipleship program then 18 month internship he previously graduated from, the first to do both as the first black male also) where he was a staff member employed as a residential advisor. He would do his first gig with House of Disciples Band (formerly known as White Chocolate) and later change his name from J. Hooks to JP. In 2020, he began his battle rap debut with the legend Danny Myers on Undiscovered Gems Season 3, then with the help of his agency Dragon Ent., he met Bonnie Godiva and debuted in the Jumpoff Tournament which led him later meeting the likes of Remy Ma & MyVerse on an hosted by Bonnie called The Reup. Before the reup, Jésen Pyro battled in Wyclef Jean's Battle Warrior Challenge and later he met OG Bazz (founder of The Real Song Battle League, Bar You To Death) in which he battled legends such as Quatum Physics on Married2DaBarz (TillnKell) and other platforms. He now goes by his government changed spelling of his first name now 'Jaéisen' and has since released new music, wrote 2 books titled 'The Werewolf Journals' and 'The Hybrid Chronicles'. Also in 2021, JP was 1 if not the 1 of the 1st to do a virtual concert/tour during the covid era and gain numerous popularity throughout his run that propelled him to new hights in his career as an artist/musician overall. His discography is what his fan base and those beyond are what they are considered are "chapters" as all of the projects are concepts with detailed artistry and sybolisms.
Artistry
JP's artistry is derived from his personal testimony of life's ups & downs, religion & political views, his take on relationships of all sorts. His style is often Sprechgesang (German: [ˈʃpʀɛçɡəˌzaŋ], "spoken singing") and Sprechstimme (German: [ˈʃpʀɛçˌʃtɪmə], "spoken voice") are expressionist vocal techniques between singing and speaking. He sometimes also raps without cursing using a wider vocabulary to display versatility and gives comedic and motivational quotes from time to time with entendre with many meanings coupled with syllables, wordplay, punchlines and one liners. Alternative making all kinds of music, but with a twist as he is portrayed as a character in a movie with various roles displaying different emotions of transparency. Dark, alternative & also raps that are poetic. He mostly freestyles his recording sessions letting the music guide him in the mood and moment and only write 10% of his works. He has a different mythical characters that represent various situations and also a fascination and love for werewolves. His favorite movie is Antone Fisher due how relatable the movie was to him due to going through what men have gone through in that similar scenario. His influences are Michael Jackson, TGT, Justin Timberlake, Sade, Phil Collins, David Bowey, Al B. Sure!, Jodeci, Seal, Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, 2pac, Rakim, Mariah Carey, Aaliyah, Tinashe, Anita Baker, Chamillionaire, but most importantly his label mates and collaborators, Tory Lanez & The Weeknd to name a few. To sum it up it is the prodigal son and his adventures in life up until now. He is was also a dancer in church & street battles and also battle raps as well was in varsity choir competitions in high school and talent shows making him an overall package deal with 22 years experience independent as an artist. Also, each covet art has a symbolism to the concepts of each project from his humble beginnings to where is in the story of his career. It is told in a mythical sense. Also, his dress code is either flannnel shirts with matching pajamas pants, a dinem shirt/jacket to match his blue jeans, a plaid hoodie with matching joggers and sometimes suits or a more casual look of a collar shirt and pants to match. This is to incorporate to the 80s, 90s New Jack Swing in the modern day format from the look to the production.
Personal Life
Jaisen is a host broadcaster & philanthropist. He has done time is prison and uses his story to give back included being a huge breast cancer supporter and plasma donor. He also does virtual concerts to help those sick and shut in. He also enjoys anime, art , gaming, sports, battle rap and acting and has works on fandom.com. In his spare time, he is a homebody who likes to enjoy walks and helps as well as get help for mental health as he deals with bipolar depression, anxiety & insomnia. As of Jan. 2024, he has legally changed his name to Jaéisen La'Don Wooten-Pyro and uses his first name as his artist name and his alias "Nitemare" for battle rap as of his thoughts on turning 39 years old. His DPS remains the same. Ministry wise Jaéisen began at Ebenezer AME Church, then moved to Smith Temple, and later to The Reveal Church Tyler (formerly connected with Omega Ministries / Omega Outreach), which was part of the Shabach Fellowship under Dr. Todd Hall. He served as an armbearer to Pastor DeMarcus Pierson and was mentored by Harlon Bell, the choreographer known for his work with Tayste and Destiny’s Child. He also shadowed the late Apostle DeAndre Harris Thomas (Dallas), received impartation from Pastor Rickie G. Rush of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church (formerly known as IBOC), and from my aunt, Pastor Ilwilda Coats of Loosing the Shackles ministry. He was raised up and equipped through House of Disciples (Wiseman Ministries Inc) and Powerhouse Ministries (fka) under Pastor James Taylor and First Lady Joetta Taylor, where I stepped into my calling as the artist-minstrel Jaéisen Pyro. Now as 2025, I stand firmly planted at Gospel Pillar, under the leadership of Apostle Michael Michaels and Prophet Isaiah MacWealth using his gifts for both his career and ministry.
