J.C. Chaudhry
Mr. J.C. Chaudhry is the Chairman and Managing Director of Aakash Educational Services Ltd (AESL), which owns Aakash Institute, Aakash IIT-JEE, Aakash Foundations, Aakash iTutor and Aakash Live brands. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Aakash Healthcare, a Super Speciality Hospital which was launched on 27th August 2017.
He is also the Managing Trustee of “Maa Vaishno Dham” spread across approximately 12 acres of land at Vrindavan, Mathura (U.P) India. The magnificent Maa Vaishno Devi Murti built under his guidance is recognised by Limca Book of Records (2013) as the tallest statue of any goddess (141 feet in height) in India.[1]
Personal Life
Mr. Chaudhry is married to Smt. Kamla Chaudhry. His elder son, Dr. Aashish Chaudhry, is the Managing Director of Aakash Healthcare, a Super Speciality Hospital.[2] His younger son, Aakash Chaudhry, is the Director and CEO of Aakash Educational Services Ltd. and partner of Aerika Cineworks. [3]
Early Life and Education
Mr. Chaudhry was born in Sevli village in Haryana on 1st August 1949. After schooling from village Hathin in Haryana, he passed B.Sc. from Punjab University Chandigarh in 1970. In 1972 he completed his M.Sc. in Botany from BITS Pilani.[4]
Career
Mr. Chaudhry started his career in teaching as a lecturer in Botany at Vaish College, Bhiwani (1972-73). In 1973-1974 he worked as PGT (Biology) at Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. He taught for many years in Government Schools as PGT (Biology) and also worked as Principal for approximately 2 years in Government Schools.
At present around 200,000 students are enrolled in classroom courses in 185+ centres of Aakash Pan India. Aakash Institute has produced 2,17,928 Doctors in 30 years from 1988 to 2018 & 23,172 selections in JEE Advanced & 36,412 selections in JEE Main, in the previous 11 years from 2007 to 2018.
Occult Science and Motivational Speaker
Mr. Chaudhry has a keen interest in occult sciences like Numerology. He has been practicing it for the last 35 years. He is also a great Motivational Speaker & Vaastu Expert. He has a YouTube Channel named JC Chaudhry - Motivational Speaker and a website jcchaudhry.com.. He has authored a book on numerology, “Advanced Numerology”. He has also written various other books such as “ABC of Vaastu Shastra”, “You and Your Gems”, “Mudra- Healthy life at your fingertips”, various quotes in a book “I Think” & “Nature, the best cure”.[5]
Awards and Honours
Mr. Chaudhry was bestowed with 'Dr. Radhakrishnan President's Award' for his dedicated services rendered to schools and community by Freedom Fighter Welfare Society in 2002[6]. He has also been felicitated with the ‘Hall of Fame 2014’ award presented by Inc. India in recognition of entrepreneurial zeal, growth & excellence. He is also a recipient of the “Person of the Year” Award 2015-16 at Abu Dhabi by Asia One, the Pan Asia Business & News Magazine. Further, he has been recognized and felicitated by the “Life Time Achievement” Award 2016-17 at India-UAE Business and Social Forum 2017, at Meydan Hotel Dubai. He was also awarded with IEBF Excellence Award -2018 for “Transforming Lives through Education” at House of Lords, Portcullis House, UK Parliament, Westminster, London on 2nd November, 2018 at Indo- European Forum (IEBF) Acceler8 Summit.[7] He was also a recipient of the Global Education Leaders Award for “Shaping the Dreams of Millions of Medical & Engineering Aspirants” at Atlantis, the Palm-Dubai on 30-31st October, 2018 by “India-UAE Partnership Summit -2018”. He also received Appreciation Award as a keynote speaker on “Role of Numerology” in Business Growth & Personal Life” at St. James Court, Taj Hotel, 54, Buckingham Gate, West Minister, London by Indo – European Business Forum (IEBF) during Acceler8 Summit on 3rd November, 2018 [8]
In addition, he has been recognised under ‘Platinum Category’ from ‘Central Board of Direct Taxes’ for contributing higher taxes as an individual for the assessment year 2016-17 and 2017-18
Mr. Chaudhry is a partner in a movie production company, Aerika Cineworks. Its debut production, Rough Book, went on to become an international favourite and won many accolades around the world and in India.[9]
Social Service
Mr. Chaudhry is also doing a lot of social work for the society. He is providing education to 50 students free of cost. He has made a donation of Rs. 21 lacs toward Kerala Relief fund. He has made a donation of Rs 24,73,821/- for Uttarakhand relief fund.
