J.D. Durkin
J.D. Durkin (born 1987) is an American political columnist, television host, producer, and director who is currently an anchor for Cheddar TV in New York City.[1] He is a graduate of Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and trained with The Second City, io West, and Peoples Improv Theater. He has interviewed high-profile political figures like former Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, National Security Advisor Michael T. Flynn, and DNC Chair Donna Brazile.
Durkin covered the 2016 presidential campaign as the Senior Editor of Mediaite, a site focusing on the intersection of cable news and political media founded by Dan Abrams. Before Mediaite, Durkin worked as a writer for various comedy pilots and wrote and directed the National Tour of The Joe Moses One Man Showses, a spin-off of StarKid Productions.
He previously wrote and served as Unit Production Manager for the 2009 documentary Price of Life.
