J. Ezike
John Paul Ezike (born April 20, 1987) is a Biafran author, political activist, columnist and musician.[1][2] He writes under the pen names J. Ezike, Alexander Ezike, and Alexander P. Ezike. [Citation Needed] Ezike is known for his work and campaigns for the sole agenda of the welfare of Indigenous People of Biafra.
Early Life
Ezike was born in Kano, Nigeria to Nze Ferdinand Ezike and Lolo Anthonia Ezike. As a child, he experienced the 1991 religious riots and the killing of Igbos by Maitatsine adherents in the northern states of the country.
Ezike was abducted in his hometown, Orlu, by the Nigerian Department of State Services on January 5, 2018, for almost sixteen hours, exactly four days after his numerous publications, intense social media activism on Biafran Referendum, the massacre of innocent civilians in Benue and River States by the Islamic Fulani Militia[3] and the release of two prominent Igbo Journalists – Tim and Daniel Elombah – arrested by Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector General of Police.
Ezike had worked and published on the online newspaper platform Elombah.com as a regular columnist, and Daniel Elombah and Tim Elombah are his colleagues. His abduction by the DSS was published on OPINIONNIGERIA on January 13, 2018.
Education
Ezike received college and university education at the University of Abuja, where he gained admission to study Chemistry but dropped out after two years because of the consistent strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and his difficulty "managing" the course. He attended Business School at London School of Law and Management, Westminster Bridge Road. He also got accepted into medical school at Georgetown American University of Medicine in South America, Guyana, but dropped out after one year due to his involvement in Guyana's political issues.
Career
Ezike started his music career by performing in the streets, clubs and London churches. He toured the cities of London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Aberdeen performing under the stage name ''Kool Daddy."
He is inspired by Shirdi Sai Baba, Chinua Achebe, William Shakespeare, Fela Kuti, and Bob Marley.

Ezike is the author of many books including Bamba Park, Desert Water: An Autobiography, When a Man Cries Like a Child, Butcher Men: (From there came the butcher), and Latifah: Volume 1 to name a few.[4]
