Biography[edit]

Professional Life[edit]

According to Scheel, after a failed business venture, in his early 20’s, he determined that the most effective way to create wealth would be through Commercial Real Estate Investment. He then engineered a set of techniques and strategies that could break through the traditional barriers aspiring investors would most likely encounter. Searching for an asset that could accomplish his goal, Scheel found a small apartment complex in the Cleveland, Ohio market. Scheel acquired the building through leveraging the asset and its revenue. This eliminated his need to personally fund the down payment while creating a strong positive cash flow from day one. Within less than a year of his initial acquisition, he was able to force the appreciation of his first asset and become a Self-Made Millionaire. After completing his first deal, Scheel went on to invest in many other assets and different asset classes including Apartments Retail, Office, Medical, Recreational, and Land Development among others.

In 2002, after being frequently approached by others for help, Scheel decided to document his proven strategies and offer them to aspiring Commercial Real Estate investors. Through his company Scheel Publishing, Inc., Scheel founded the Commercial Academy in 2003. His organization educates students from all walks of life on the correct strategies to create financial freedom - even for those who have previously suffered financial hardships. Scheel’s proven success in creating wealth and empowerment for so many of differing backgrounds, experience, ethnicities, financial circumstances, and education levels created demand as a keynote speaker. His natural ability for teaching complex financial structures and demystifying them for the general public was instrumental to his success. Throughout his career, Scheel has keynoted with hundreds of lecturers, billionaires, celebrities, athletes, and world leaders including: Tony Robbins, President Donald Trump, President Bill Clinton,Vice President Al Gore, FED Chairman Alan Greenspan, Richard Branson, Warren Buffett, Pitbull, Sylvester Stallone, Magic Johnson, Rudi Giuliani[2], and many others.

Scheel has made a positive impact on many lives while traveling and teaching to domestic and international audiences. In 2007, Scheel formed the Diamond Inner Circle, a select group of advanced clients which forms investment alliances all across the U.S. and Canada.

As of 2018, Scheel has educated over 150,000 students across 27 countries on 6 continents through the Commercial Academy. In 2010, Scheel entered the motion picture industry as a producer and has gone on to produce 3 films. As an active member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG),Scheel has played roles in the award-winning films ‘MadTown’ (2016) and ‘Beautiful Garden’ (2017).
