John Craig Yoshihara Jr. (born December 20, 1982), known professionally as JJ Yosh, is an American travel host,[1] influencer,[2] and founder of the production company Higher Earth Entertainment.[3] Yosh attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he co-founded the Excursion Club.[4]
Career
In January of 2016, Yosh served as a travel blogger for the Discovery Travel & Living television series, Fun Taiwan, now in its sixteenth season.[5] In November 2016, Higher Earth Entertainment released the documentary film Ancient Tomorrow.[6] Yosh and his pet cat named Simon[7] have gained media attention for going on hiking and backpacking trips together.[8][9][10] In 2014 Yosh became an influencer on social media.[2]
Personal life
Yosh lives in Boulder, Colorado, where he is involved in the local running and hiking scene.[1][11]
