JP BERGERON is a Canadian-American actor, working internationally in numerous films and TV shows. Equally at ease in English and French, his US credits include ALIAS, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, AMERICAN DREAMS, THE NEW POSEIDON ADVENTURE, and various other productions. In Quebec, also known as Jean-Pierre Bergeron[1], his credits include film classics L’EAU CHAUDE L’EAU FRETTE and LES BONS DEBARRAS, and the hit tv shows AVEC LE TEMPS, OMERTA and CRIME STORIES[2], available in the US later in 2022. He’s the first actor usually cast in typically masculine roles to come out to the media[3] in the history of French-speaking Canada. His success in Quebec leads him to work as an actor in Los Angeles with various international names, such as Marlon Brando, Max Von Sydow, Charlie Sheen, and Jennifer Garner. An expert at directing actors for the screen, he spent over 3,000 hours teaching, coaching, and directing established actors and acting students.

ALONE WITH MR. CARTER

He made his debut as a writer/director with a short film, ALONE WITH MR. CARTER. Having extensive knowledge of the business, he raised the financing of ALONE WITH MR. CARTER. A very efficient salesman at Film Markets, he received various offers of international distribution for that short film. He chose Shorts International, which distributes Academy-award-nominated and other award-winning selected shorts.

A semi-autobiographical story about a 10- year-old boy who tries to declare his love to a 65-year-old heterosexual male detective[4], it aired on television in numerous countries, including the US and Europe. It also got 200,000 views while it was on public YOUTUBE, including in a dubbed RUSSIAN version. It is also available to stream on different platforms such iTUNES and AMAZON.
