Jeremiah Agbolade Hassan. Born (April 18, 1998). Professionally known as Jssan is a music artist. Jssan's first fascination has always been music. He was born and raised in the city of Chicago by Nigerian parents who met in London. He grew up around musical intellectuals. Their boundless passion for music has inspired him, since the age of four, to become the musician he is today. Jssan emerged to musical success in his local church, taking up multiple instruments, drumming being his strong suit. His involvement in his local church has opened up doors to touring and traveling opportunities, capitalizing on his musical versatility. He has since taken up the talent of playing, teaching, and making musical pieces throughout his lifetime. His upbringing and love for sound has helped him develop an ear for musical potential, as well as the aspiration for musical success as an artist.

Early Life

In 1998, Hassan was raised a Christian by his mother, Adenike, and father, Samuel. Hassan’s father, Samuel, converted from the Muslim religion to Christianity after meeting Adenike in London, and later marrying her. At the early age of four, Hassan developed a passion for drumming and musical performance. Hassan got most of his exposure playing the drums live at his church located in South Side Chicago. He spent most of his upbringing traveling the country, performing live, while sharing his gift with the world in every city and church he performed in. His musical aspirations are greatly influenced by Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Ebenezer Obey and other foreign international artists. Hassan attended Robert H. Lawrence Elementary School where he played American Football until he graduated from the Simeon Career Academy. In the year of 2017, Hassan began his college career. During Hassan’s experience throughout college, he started to take major strides in musical advancement, inheriting the stage name Jssan. Jssan’s musical knowledge is in part due to him watching and experiencing multiple advanced recording sessions with close partners and friends. Jssan’s expanded time in the studio is actually what led him to release his first single ever, “Okay," which has now crossed over 100k of all time streams. Jssan is currently Artist Developing and plans to drop more records soon.
