JUnit-Tools
JUnit-Tools is a set of tools for IDE Eclipse. It is a complete open-source project (licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0) developed by a non-profit team (junit-tools-team) and open-source developers. The foundation of JUnit-Tools is a 2012 bachelor's thesis by Robert Streng. Since then, it has been further developed by a non-profit team and was renamed to JUnit-Tools in December 2015. The tools are now available via the Eclipse Marketplace, an update site, or directly from the official JUnit-Tools website.
One of the key goals of JUnit-Tools is to improve software quality by automating unit-testing processes. Its primary function is to generate JUnit test classes and test cases.
An interesting technical aspect is the new markup language TML (Test Markup Language) for describing complete tests. JUnit-Tools uses TML to provide all necessary data for JUnit test class generators. This decouples the process of gathering data for generation from the generation itself. This makes it easy to replace the default generators with custom generators.
